Paralegal (Property and Private Client)

About the role

A well-established law firm is looking for a Property and Private Client Paralegal to join its team in Godalming. The role covers a broad range of property and private client matters, supporting the progression of legal matters, maintaining client relationships and keeping files managed efficiently and accurately throughout each case. The salary is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support solicitors and fee earners on property and private client matters
• Prepare, review and manage legal documents, correspondence and client communications
• Assist with property transactions from instruction through to completion
• Support the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, probate applications and estate administration documentation
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other third parties
• Conduct legal research and prepare supporting documentation where required
• Manage client onboarding and ensure compliance requirements are met
• Maintain accurate file management, document control and case records
• Manage diaries, appointments and meetings, and assist with billing and file administration

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Property, Private Client or Legal Support role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Professional, client-focused approach and ability to work independently and in a team
