Paraplanner – Financial Planning (Hybrid)

About the role

We are recruiting a qualified Paraplanner for a leading financial planning practice in Aylesbury. The position is full‑time and offers hybrid working, reporting to the Head of Paraplanning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client information, existing investments and plans.
• Perform tax calculations (IHT, CGT, bonds, etc.).
• Construct suitable solutions together with advisers.
• Write client‑friendly suitability reports and run cash‑flow models.
• Act as a technical point of contact for client services and advisers.
• Communicate research timelines, attend client meetings and train junior team members.
• Lead pod meetings, undertake peer reviews and contribute to system‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of paraplanning experience within financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial products and tax rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Logical, detail‑oriented and able to manage a busy workload.
