Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Paraplanner to join a forward‑thinking financial planning team in Godalming. You will work closely with Financial Advisers to produce high‑quality client solutions, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations.
• Conduct research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Support Financial Advisers with client reviews and advice preparation.
• Analyse client information and produce cash‑flow and planning documents.
• Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain relevant information.
• Ensure all advice documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.
• Assist the progression of client cases from initial advice through to completion.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry changes, regulations and financial products.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Paraplanner or similar financial planning support role.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of investments, pensions, protection and retirement planning.
• Excellent report writing, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure with strong attention to detail.
