Paraplanner – Hybrid (2 days office)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading independent financial advice firm to expand its Wealth Planning team in London. The Paraplanner will work closely with advisers and client support staff, providing technical expertise to deliver comprehensive financial plans for a portfolio of private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research client financial arrangements and identify suitable solutions.
• Prepare technical suitability reports and recommendations.
• Analyse investment portfolios, pensions and protection products.
• Produce financial planning analysis and support cash‑flow modelling.
• Assist with annual client reviews and ongoing service delivery.
• Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning role.
• Working towards or close to completing the Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS).
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
• Excellent attention to detail and report‑writing ability.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Motivation to develop a career in financial planning.
