Paraplanner – Hybrid, up to £55k + Benefits

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our growing Chartered Financial Planning team in Exeter. Working in a hybrid model, you will support senior Financial Planners by preparing high‑quality technical reports and conducting client‑focused research. The role offers clear pathways for those who wish to progress towards a fully qualified Adviser.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial planning reports and recommendations for clients.
• Conduct research on investment products, tax regulations and retirement solutions.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners to ensure accurate and compliant advice.
• Maintain client records and update planning software with relevant data.
• Assist in the development of client presentations and documentation.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma (or near completion) in a relevant financial qualification.
• Proven experience as a Paraplanner within a financial planning environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality client outcomes.

• Salary between £48,000 and £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
