Paraplanner (Hybrid Working) – Up to £50k

About the role

Our client, a market‑leading financial planning organisation, is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their Basingstoke team. The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary up to £50,000 and strong opportunities for career progression within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality suitability reports and client recommendations.
• Undertake detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Support Financial Planners with preparation and implementation of client advice, including cash‑flow analysis.
• Liaise with providers and internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with current financial planning legislation, regulation and best practice.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or close to completion).
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and the capacity to manage own workload.
• Professional, collaborative and client‑focused communication skills.
