Paraplanner (Trainee) – Progress to Adviser in Lewes

About the role

This is a full‑time Paraplanner position within a respected Independent Financial Planning practice in Lewes. You will support Financial Advisers, produce technical documentation and have a clear pathway to become a qualified adviser within 18‑24 months.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports, technical documentation and post‑meeting paperwork such as fund switches and withdrawals.
• Conduct research across pensions, investments and protection products to support client recommendations.
• Produce financial analysis, support adviser recommendations and manage client queries.
• Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain policy information and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with client support, operations teams and contribute to business projects and regulatory initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner or Senior Financial Planning Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Proactive approach with a commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.
• Progress towards or completion of Level 4 Diploma qualifications is advantageous.
