Part-Time Accountant – Kidlington

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Part‑Time Accountant to join a growing business in Kidlington. The role offers flexible hours while providing a broad finance remit, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain and update cash‑flow forecasts, delivering insights on cash management.
• Collate payroll and pension information for processing and ensure accurate records.
• Support and manage R&D tax credit claims.
• Assist with statutory reporting.
• Lead finance‑related projects, process improvements and system enhancements.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting to aid business growth.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a broad accounting or finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of R&D tax credits (desirable).
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
