Part Time Accounts & Tax Manager

About the role

TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established accountancy practice near Goudhurst. The role offers a relaxed, flexible environment and can be taken on a part‑time or full‑time basis, focusing on managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies while supervising junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the team.
• Provide holistic accounting and business advice to a wide range of clients.
• Build strong, trust‑based client relationships.
• Meet all filing deadlines for accounts and tax compliance.
• Manage work‑in‑progress and client billing.
• Support partners in the development and growth of the practice.
• Assist with business development and networking where desired.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience within an accountancy practice.
• Ability to prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

What we offer

• Salary £45,000‑£55,000 FTE, dependent on experience and negotiable.
