Part-time Finance Director (2-3 days per week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to join an established, purpose‑led organisation on a part‑time basis (2‑3 days per week). Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board, you will provide strategic financial leadership during a key transition period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Partner with the Managing Director and Board on strategic decisions and investment opportunities.
• Review, challenge and develop complex financial and investment models.
• Support funding strategies, commercial projects and business cases.
• Oversee financial governance, controls, audit and statutory reporting.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the wider finance function.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Previous experience at Finance Director or Head of Finance level.
• Strong background in project finance, infrastructure investment or corporate finance.
• Advanced financial modelling capability.
• Experience supporting Boards, investors, lenders or senior stakeholders.
