Part-Time Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented housekeeper to keep the public areas, hotel rooms, golf club facilities and function rooms at Leonardslee Wine Estate and Mannings Heath Golf Club spotless and welcoming. This part‑time position supports the estate’s high standards of guest service and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare hotel rooms to the highest standard, including bed‑making, linen changes, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and replenishing guest amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms and dining spaces, as well as golf club locker rooms and related facilities.
• Set up, clean and restore function rooms for events (weddings, conferences, private dining) before and after use.
• Report maintenance issues or inventory shortages promptly and assist with laundry operations and stock handling when required.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours, including weekends.
• Physically capable of manual tasks such as prolonged standing, lifting, bending and carrying.

Required skills

• Excellent time‑management and ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Good communication skills to interact politely and professionally with guests.
