Part-Time Merchandiser - Asda Perth

About the role

CPM is looking for part-time team members to place point-of-sale (POS) and in-store media at Asda Perth (PH1 5AP). The role suits someone who can work every Thursday, averaging about 3.5 hours per week, and who has experience placing POS. Pay is £14.70 per hour including holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Place POS in designated parts of the store to support several brands, ensuring full coverage of all placements.
• Photograph completed placements and report them through an online app.
• Sign into the store, introduce yourself to key store contacts and liaise with colleagues to locate the POS previously delivered.
• Place bollard covers, promotional barkers, large gondola end display units and other POS in pre-arranged sections; use a stepladder to place media at height.

Required profile

• Experience working with POS.
• Owns a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits in store.
• Happy to place POS at height using a stepladder and to spend several hours in the store, including moving heavier boxes of POS or stock.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail, flexibility, teamwork and a self-starter attitude.

Required skills

• Competent and confident using an app-based reporting system.
• Ability to navigate the store and work within the 6am to 4pm window on Thursdays.
