Part-time QHSE Lead

About the role

This part‑time QHSE Lead role supports a well‑established manufacturing site in Swindon. Working up to 30 hours a week across three or four days, you will be based mainly on‑site with some hybrid flexibility. You will own the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment function, ensuring compliance, maintaining ISO standards and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Lead internal audit programmes and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
• Develop and oversee risk assessments, incident investigations and safe working procedures.
• Oversee contractor inductions, compliance documentation and ongoing monitoring.
• Support environmental compliance, waste management and reporting.
• Deliver QSHE training and promote a positive safety culture.
• Collaborate with site management and the Maintenance Engineer on improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Quality, Health & Safety, Compliance or QSHE role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage ISO systems and lead audits.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
