Part-Time Supply Support Assistant (School)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Supply Support Assistant to join our school from early September. This temporary role supports the classroom environment and enhances the learning experience for pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development within the classroom.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver activities and learning tasks.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide individual or small‑group support where necessary.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
• Support classroom preparation and organisation.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, caring nature, and adaptability.
• Effective team‑working capabilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
