About the role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Supply Support Assistant to join our school from early September. This temporary role supports the classroom environment and enhances the learning experience for pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning and development within the classroom.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver activities and learning tasks.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide individual or small‑group support where necessary.
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
- Support classroom preparation and organisation.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, caring nature, and adaptability.
- Effective team‑working capabilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
