Part‑time Careers Advisor (CIAG) – Prison Setting

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time CIAG Adviser to work within a prison environment, helping inmates develop the skills, confidence and aspirations needed for a fresh start. You will provide tailored career coaching, workshops and personalised action plans to support their transition beyond custody.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a prisoner caseload and meet personal and team targets.
• Record all interactions on the relevant Justice case‑management and MI systems.
• Develop and document Learning and Work Plans with SMART goals and actions.
• Deliver career‑coaching workshops and one‑to‑one sessions to support prisoners’ employment aspirations.
• Monitor and report on performance indicators such as number of prisoners seen and progress made.
