Part‑time Credit Control Clerk (Interim)

About the role

This interim position supports a leading tech business in London with its credit control function on a part‑time basis for three months. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintain strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end credit control process across the business.
• Send payment reminders to customers before invoice due dates.
• Proactively chase overdue invoices via phone and email.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and collection activity.
• Produce and maintain debtor and aged debt reports.
• Monitor outstanding balances and identify potential payment risks.
• Provide regular updates to managers on debtor status and escalated accounts.
• Work with internal teams to resolve invoice queries and payment disputes.
• Support continuous improvement of credit control and billing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Available to start immediately or within one week’s notice.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
