Part‑time Dispenser (NVQ Level 2) – Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

Superdrug is seeking a part‑time Dispenser (NVQ Level 2) to join its Accrington pharmacy team. The role is suitable for candidates who already hold an NVQ Level 2 in dispensing or for enthusiastic individuals ready to start as a trainee pharmacy assistant. You will work 10 hours per week, split between Saturdays and either Monday or Friday afternoons on alternating weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a strong interest in healthcare to begin as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – a passion for healthcare and customer service is essential.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent qualification).
