About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Dispensing Optician to join a well‑established independent practice near Amersham, Buckinghamshire. The role involves delivering personalised eye‑care services within a friendly, professional team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dispensing of niche and premium eyewear, tailoring frames and lenses to individual patient needs.
• Support patients with frame styling and lens selection, ensuring high standards of customer care throughout the journey.
• Collaborate with a team of optometrists, dispensing opticians and optical assistants in a structured environment.
• Maintain clinical quality and patient experience standards.
• Work 3‑4 days per week, typically Monday‑Thursday, with occasional Saturday coverage.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered Dispensing Optician.
• Previous experience in an independent or quality‑focused practice.
• Strong patient‑focused communication and organisational skills.
• Team player seeking a long‑term part‑time position.

Required skills

• Dispensing of eyewear and lens fitting.
