Part‑Time Employment Solicitor – Surrey

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Employment Solicitor to join a respected regional practice in Surrey. The role offers hybrid working and a flexible schedule, ideal for candidates with 1‑5+ years post‑qualification experience who want a varied caseload of both contentious and non‑contentious matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on the full spectrum of employment issues, including tribunal claims, contracts, redundancies, disciplinary matters, settlement agreements and restructures.
• Manage a mix of respondent and claimant work, drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment documentation.
• Provide corporate support on employment aspects of business sales and purchases.
• Contribute to business development through networking and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with commercial, litigation and corporate teams across the firm.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1‑5+ years PQE in employment law.
• Confident in managing an independent caseload with appropriate support.
• Excellent communication and client‑focused approach.
• Ability to balance technical legal expertise with commercial awareness.
• Motivated by career progression and contributing to a growing department.
