Part‑time ESOL Tutor – Flexible Hours in Liverpool

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic ESOL Tutor to deliver one‑to‑one English language tuition across Liverpool. You will work flexibly, providing tailored lessons that help learners improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, learner‑centred ESOL lessons in a variety of settings (homes, community venues, schools).
- Assess individual learner needs and adapt materials to support progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and track learner development.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and attendance.
Required profile
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL or equivalent).
- Proven experience delivering ESOL or English language tuition, preferably 1:1 or small‑group.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, supportive and adaptable approach to teaching.
Required skills
- Lesson planning and curriculum design for adult learners.
- Ability to assess language proficiency and tailor instruction.
