Part‑time Merchandiser – POS Placement (Thursdays)

About the role

This is a part‑time position focused on placing point‑of‑sale (POS) and in‑store media at an Asda store in Slough. You will work every Thursday, typically for around 5.5 hours, and be paid £12.47 per hour (including holiday pay).

Key responsibilities

• Sign in to the store, meet the key store contacts and locate the POS items delivered.
• Place bollard covers, promotional barkers, gondola end displays and other POS in pre‑arranged sections.
• Use a stepladder to install media at height when required.
• Photograph each installed POS and report completion through an online app.
• Handle and move POS boxes or stock as needed while maintaining store safety.

Required profile

• Available to work every Thursday between 6 am and 4 pm.
• Own a smartphone (Android or iOS) to use the reporting app.
• Comfortable using a stepladder and lifting moderate‑weight items.
• Good communication and relationship‑building skills with store staff.
• Previous experience placing POS or retail merchandising is essential.
