Part‑Time Store Cleaner

About the role

Heron Foods is looking for a reliable Part‑Time Store Cleaner to keep its Prescot store clean, safe and welcoming for customers and staff. You will work around 10 hours each week, contributing to a tidy shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy the shop floor, freezer lids and shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness in the office, canteen and staff toilet areas.
• Support the store team with ad‑hoc tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow health and safety procedures while using cleaning equipment.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Friendly, approachable attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Previous cleaning experience in retail, office or commercial settings (ideal but not essential).

Required skills

• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment safely.
