Part‑Time Supply Support Assistant (School‑Based)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part‑Time Supply Support Assistant to join a school in Blackpool from early September 2026. This temporary, school‑based position supports teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pupils with their learning and development within the classroom.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver activities and learning tasks.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide individual or small‑group support where needed.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Support classroom preparation and organisation.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, caring nature and adaptability.
• Effective team‑working capabilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
