Part‑time Year 5 Teacher – Tring

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a thriving village school and nursery on the borders of Tring. The role starts in September or October 2025 and is part‑time, ideal for current Key Stage 2 teachers or early‑career teachers looking to make an impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons across the core curriculum.
• Incorporate Forest School, outdoor learning, STEM projects, computing and music into daily teaching.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with a supportive senior leadership team and fellow teachers.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and parent communication.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student development.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Willingness to continue professional development.
