Payments Lawyer – Vice President (EMEA)

About the role

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President Payments Lawyer to join its Commercial & Investment Bank legal team in London. You will provide legal advisory and transactional support for liquidity products and services across the EMEA Payments business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product‑aligned legal support and advice to the liquidity services businesses.
• Handle product‑specific queries, conduct legal due diligence, and draft form contracts for new business.
• Assist in the documentation, negotiation and execution of liquidity transactions in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work on group projects, identify legal and regulatory issues, and advise on developments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to EMEA business stakeholders, building relationships and mitigating risk.
• Contribute actively to the Legal Department’s strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 8+ years post‑qualification experience in England and Wales (or another common‑law jurisdiction).
• Experience gained at an international law firm and/or a leading financial institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in cash management, treasury services, and liquidity products.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and legal analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
