Payroll Supervisor – Part‑time, Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations for a healthcare organisation in Cranbrook. This temporary part‑time position will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and support the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, guaranteeing accuracy and on‑time payments.
• Address payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies.
• Prepare and submit payroll‑related reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to keep financial records accurate.
• Oversee statutory payments, including tax and pension contributions.
• Keep payroll records and documentation up to date.
• Support audits and other accountancy reviews as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.

Required skills

• Payroll software proficiency (e.g., Sage, ADP, or similar).
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax and pension regulations.
• Excel or spreadsheet competence.
