About the role
We are supporting a well‑established specialist secondary school in Hillingdon that provides education for pupils aged 11‑19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school seeks a qualified PE Teacher to start in September 2026, delivering engaging physical education lessons in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver PE curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4, with optional Key Stage 5 support.
- Create inclusive, motivating lessons that promote physical activity, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students with additional needs.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance the school’s specialist provision.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4; Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for promoting physical activity and resilience among young people.
- Strong commitment to supporting students with SEMH needs.
