PE Teacher (Secondary School)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated PE Teacher to join a co‑educational secondary academy in Southwark, London. The role starts in September and is full‑time and permanent, primarily covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for KS3‑4 pupils.
• Provide occasional KS5 support where required.
• Promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage participation in school sports teams.
• Collaborate with the Music, Drama and other departments on interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to assessment processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Current enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience teaching Physical Education in UK schools (newly qualified or experienced).
