About the role
We are seeking a motivated PE Teacher to join a co‑educational secondary academy in Southwark, London. The role starts in September and is full‑time and permanent, primarily covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for KS3‑4 pupils.
- Provide occasional KS5 support where required.
- Promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage participation in school sports teams.
- Collaborate with the Music, Drama and other departments on interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to assessment processes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Current enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience teaching Physical Education in UK schools (newly qualified or experienced).

- Competitive salary between £42,317 and £54,300 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
