PE Teacher – Secondary School (KS3‑KS4)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a secondary school in the NW1 area of London. The role involves delivering physical education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including preparation for GCSE examinations. The position starts as soon as possible and runs until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Prepare pupils for GCSE PE assessments.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Assess and record student progress in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with other staff to support the wider curriculum.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
- Proven experience teaching PE to KS4, including GCSE preparation.
- Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
- Willingness to complete up‑to‑date safeguarding training if not already held.
