Pensions Associate – Legal Advisory Role

About the role

This position is for a Pensions Associate within a leading global law firm. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers, providing high‑quality advice to trustees, sponsoring employers and major corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise pension fund trustees and sponsoring employers on a range of matters.
• Support clients with ongoing scheme administration and end‑game projects.
• Assist with DB scheme buy‑ins, buy‑outs and DC bulk transfers.
• Provide guidance on pensions governance, investment and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with tax, investment, employment and pensions teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular contact.
• Contribute to training, knowledge sharing and internal development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor status (or equivalent) with 3‑6 years PQE.
• Demonstrable experience in pensions law.
• Strong technical legal ability and commercial mindset.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Proactive, motivated and collaborative attitude.
