People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

TALA is a fast‑growing women’s athleisure brand looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to support both head‑office and retail teams. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all employee‑related queries and help shape the company’s culture through events and communications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Draft employment contracts and maintain HR documentation.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and support benefit queries.
• Produce monthly people reports and conduct exit interviews.
• Create engaging internal communications that reflect TALA’s tone of voice.
• Own the ‘Moments That Matter’ calendar, plan monthly socials and coordinate the annual Summer and Christmas parties.
• Partner with hiring managers to create role profiles, post vacancies, screen candidates and coordinate interviews.
• Support the People & Culture Manager on projects and keep policies up to date.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a People Coordinator or similar People Operations role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data accurately.
• Comfortable managing sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Creative eye and passion for shaping internal culture through communications and events.

Required skills

• Experience with an HRIS system; familiarity with HiBob is a plus.
