People Partner – Sales

About the role

As the People Partner for Sales at Booker Group, you will sit at the heart of our retail, foodservice and wholesale operations, working closely with senior commercial leaders to shape people strategies that drive growth and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior sales and commercial leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Influence leadership teams on organisational design, talent pipelines and capability development.
• Lead transformation initiatives and change programmes to enhance culture and performance.
• Provide strategic HR advice on recruitment, performance management, succession planning and employee engagement.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering data‑driven insights to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience partnering with senior commercial leaders, preferably within retail or wholesale environments.
• Strong understanding of HR strategy, organisational design and talent development.
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a field‑based role across the UK.
