People Partner – Tech & Product

About the role

Redgate is looking for a People Partner to work closely with the Technology and Product leadership teams. In this strategic role you will shape and own the people strategy that supports their roadmap and the wider company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end people strategy for Technology and Product, including headcount planning, org design, succession and retention.
• Partner with senior leaders, coach and challenge them, and push back when data or judgement indicates a different approach.
• Identify patterns across functions (e.g., promotion criteria, senior hire onboarding) and bring insights to the broader People Partner team.
• Integrate AI tools into People processes to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
• Participate in the leadership team’s regular rhythm, reviewing road‑maps early to influence people‑related trade‑offs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a strategic People Partner or HR Business Partner in a high‑growth tech or SaaS environment, partnering directly with product or engineering leadership.
• Commercial mindset with a track record of turning people insights into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong influencing skills, able to make decisions stick without formal authority.
• Confidence using people metrics (attrition, engagement, hiring velocity, time‑to‑fill) to diagnose issues.
• Experience shaping People team processes or frameworks, not just executing within a single area.
