Personal Injury Solicitor / Litigator – Blackburn

About the role

We are expanding our litigation team in Blackburn and are seeking a qualified Personal Injury / Road Traffic Accident solicitor or an experienced litigation executive. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of litigated RTA claims while supporting complex matters across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Review liability and quantum on personal injury files, including credit hire, and prepare to issue proceedings.
• Draft and file court documents, including statements of case and witness statements.
• Liaise with clients to obtain further information and evidence, and review medical reports.
• Assess offers, advise clients on risks, and prepare defence replies.
• Compile and review lists of documents, and manage disclosure processes.
• Prepare cases for trial, brief counsel, and attend trials within the local area.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or litigation executive with at least 2 years’ experience handling RTA/personal injury claims.
• Strong client care skills and a commercial approach to work.
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently.
