Personal Tax Compliance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Tax Compliance Manager to join a dynamic Private Client Tax team in Bristol. The role is primarily compliance‑focused, managing a portfolio of private clients and ensuring their tax affairs are handled accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client tax compliance work.
• Review personal tax returns for accuracy and technical quality.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for clients.
• Support trainees and junior team members.
• Collaborate with partners, directors and colleagues within the Personal Tax team.
• Ensure deadlines are met and work is delivered efficiently.
• Occasionally engage in advisory work, depending on experience and interest.

Required profile

• ATT and/or CTA qualified.
• Experience at a similar level within Private Client/Personal Tax.
• Enjoy managing compliance work and maintaining high standards.
• Collaborative team player.
• Comfortable reviewing work and supporting development of others.
• Professional, organised and thoughtful approach to client service.
