Pet Delivery Driver

About the role

This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) involves delivering pets to stores across the Northamptonshire area. Drivers work on a flexible schedule, often staying overnight with fuel, accommodation and food allowances provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑trip vehicle checks and ensure safe operation of a 3.5 tonne box van.
• Deliver pets to store locations while prioritising animal welfare and legal compliance.
• Coordinate van maintenance and use mobile applications to complete process checks.
• Maintain clear communication with the Pet Delivery Manager, operations team, store colleagues and other drivers.

Required profile

• Experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle, preferably a box van.
• Methodical, safety‑focused and comfortable handling small animals.
• Full, clean driving licence preferred.
• Flexible, friendly and willing to work varied hours and locations.

Required skills

• 3.5 tonne vehicle operation.
• Use of mobile apps for process and delivery checks.
