Pharma & Healthcare Strategic Insights Consultant

About the role

A London-based consultancy is expanding its quantitative research function and seeks a Pharma & Healthcare Strategic Insights Consultant to lead high-impact global market research projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech sectors. The role sits in a growing function and involves influencing decision-making at the highest levels of healthcare through deep, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex quantitative research projects end-to-end, including global tracking studies, ATUs, segmentation and demand assessments
• Build insight-driven surveys aligned with client goals and present findings to global pharma, biotech and healthcare clients
• Oversee data analysis, interpretation and storytelling that drives decision-making
• Refine methodologies, improve operational efficiency and champion industry best practices and emerging research techniques
• Mentor and coach junior team members, support L&D initiatives and collaborate with senior leadership to evolve the insights offering
• Contribute to strategic proposals, methodologies and marketing content, help grow key client relationships and position the company as a thought leader in healthcare insights

Required profile

• 6+ years in quantitative healthcare or pharmaceutical market research
• Strong experience in ATU studies, segmentation, tracking and global research
• Proven ability to engage with clients, lead complex projects and communicate insights clearly
• Natural leader and mentor with a collaborative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Required skills

• Fluency in survey design, data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI and Tableau
• Analytical, strategic approach with a focus on continuous improvement
