Pharmacist – Part‑time (3 days per week)

About the role

Join the Morrisons pharmacy team in Taunton on a part‑time basis, working three days a week to serve the local community. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will uphold high standards of customer care while following all pharmacy operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
• Deliver essential pharmacy services such as flu vaccinations and the NHS Pharmacy First Service.
• Clinically check prescriptions, manage controlled drugs, and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Support pharmacy audits, data security, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Oversee stock ordering, replenishment, and control of medicines, especially those prone to misuse.
• Report dispensing errors, near‑misses, and act on drug alerts or recalls promptly.
• Build relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals in the community.

Required profile

• Pharmacy degree and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience working in a community pharmacy setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service and meeting pharmacy KPIs.
