Pharmacist – Retail Healthcare (Hampshire)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our retail‑focused healthcare team in Hook, Hampshire. The successful candidate will deliver safe, accurate pharmaceutical services while supporting the health of the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide expert medication advice and health guidance to customers.
• Maintain compliance with GPhC regulations and internal policies.
• Keep accurate records of controlled drugs, patient consultations and stock movements.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage inventory, ordering and safe storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Lead and mentor the pharmacy team to achieve operational excellence.
• Promote health‑and‑wellbeing initiatives within the local community.

Required profile

• Recognised pharmacy qualification and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practice.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and solve problems proactively.
