Pharmacy Colleague – Part‑time (Afternoons)

About the role
Join ASDA's in‑store pharmacy team on a part‑time basis, working afternoon shifts with a flexible schedule that includes weekends. You will help customers with their health needs while gaining accredited training to progress within pharmacy services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers discussing personal health issues.
- Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
- Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews.
- Support the pharmacist with patient services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop‑smoking schemes) and maintain proper records.
- Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and prepare them for customer collection.
- Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and health‑safety guidelines.
Required profile
- Friendly, highly organised and proactive.
- Good computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and deliver a great customer experience.

What we offer
- £13.10 per hour, permanent contract.
- 30 hours per week with afternoon shift pattern.
- Accredited training to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by Dispensing Assistant training.
