Pharmacy Dispenser – Store Pharmacy Team

About the role
Join a busy retail pharmacy team as a Dispenser, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient pharmacy services. You will interact directly with patients, helping them manage their medicines and health needs every day.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions while ensuring correct labeling, ordering, and collection.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee legal and safe dispensing.
- Provide advice and care to patients about medicines, escalating queries to the pharmacist when needed.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of store innovations and operational processes.
- Support patients with repeat prescriptions, adherence, and waste reduction.
- Utilise new dispensing technologies to improve safety and free time for patient interaction.
Required profile
- Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification (NVQ2) or equivalent, or first year of an MPharm degree.
- Current, valid right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- Preferably experience in a community pharmacy setting.
