Pharmacy Manager – Cheshire

About the role

This permanent position is based in Cheshire and is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of a community pharmacy. You will lead a team of pharmacists and support staff to deliver high‑quality patient care while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pharmacy team to provide outstanding patient services.
• Oversee safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Provide clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and deliver NHS and private pharmacy services, including vaccinations and Pharmacy First.
• Maintain compliance with GPhC, NHS and company procedures.
• Manage stock control, prescription workflows and overall operational efficiency.
• Recruit, coach and develop pharmacy colleagues.
• Build relationships with GP surgeries, local healthcare providers and the community.

Required profile

• MPharm degree and registration with the GPhC.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy or community healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient consultation skills.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience delivering NHS and private clinical services.
• Commercial awareness and a track record of driving service growth.
