Pharmacy Manager – Maternity Cover (12‑Month FTC)

About the role

Superdrug is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a community pharmacy in Bootle on a 12‑month maternity cover basis. This fixed‑term role starts in mid‑July and offers both full‑time and part‑time options, with 42.5 hours per week and alternate Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy team to exceed performance targets and deliver high‑quality patient care.
• Manage stock, daily operations and ensure compliance with GPhC (PSNI) standards.
• Drive commercial success while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver pharmacy and broader healthcare services to meet local community needs.
• Utilise clinical expertise to support patients across a wide range of health concerns.
• Collaborate with the Regional Healthcare Manager and contribute to the evolution of Superdrug’s healthcare offering.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with community pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Independent Prescriber qualification welcomed but not essential.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of NHS pharmacy funding.
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
