Physical Education Teacher – Flexible School Placements

About the role

Flexzo Teach connects passionate Physical Education teachers with schools across Salford and the greater Manchester area. You will deliver high‑quality, planned practical and theoretical PE lessons that promote inclusive practice and healthy lifestyles.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of key stages.
• Adapt activities to support SEND learners and ensure safety for all participants.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a respectful learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Collaborate with school PE departments and support staff to align with the national curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE preferred, or extensive school‑based PE teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the national PE curriculum, including practical sports and theoretical sports science.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Knowledge of practical sports techniques and sports science theory.
• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learner needs.
