PIM Data Steward – Amazon Vendor Central (6‑month contract)

About the role

This 6‑month contract position supports the EMEA function of a global e‑commerce organisation. The PIM Data Steward ensures high‑quality product data across Product Information Management (PIM) systems and its seamless integration into Amazon Vendor Central and other retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Validate that product data is accurate, complete and consistent across PIM and Amazon Vendor Central.
• Support new product launches by checking data and following structured onboarding processes.
• Execute data uploads into PIM and downstream retail platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data queries, issues and requests.
• Map and onboard Amazon and retail templates, ensuring correct formatting and compliance.
• Apply data‑mapping rules to align PIM data with Vendor Central requirements.
• Monitor and report on product data readiness for marketplace publication.
• Identify and correct data discrepancies to avoid listing issues.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with PIM systems such as Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica, Stibo Systems or InRiver.
• Proven experience working with Amazon Vendor Central, including product data onboarding.
• Strong understanding of PIM data models, large product catalogues and data governance best practices.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, macros and dashboard creation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
