PIP Nurse – Hybrid

About the role

Do good. Be great as a nurse. As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus you will use your clinical expertise to assess how a person's disability or health condition impacts their daily life. You will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain, helping customers move forward.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effect of disabilities or health conditions on daily living.
• Manage complex cases that include physical, mental health and chronic pain disorders.
• Produce detailed written reports using computer software.
• Provide assessments and recommendations to support customers' independence.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing (NHS or other).
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software for report writing.

Required skills

• Computer software proficiency for detailed reporting.
