Pipe Fitter & Mate – Commercial Project in Peterborough

About the role

We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters and Pipe Fitters' Mates for a new commercial project in Peterborough. The role is hourly, with rates of £28 for Fitters and £20 for Mates, and runs for an initial 3‑4 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out full mechanical installation of pipework, including press‑fit, copper and stainless‑steel systems.
• Read and interpret installation drawings and schematics.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the site team and follow instructions.
• Maintain tools and equipment on site.

Required profile

• Hold a valid CSCS Skills Card.
• Possess personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Hold IPAF certification for plant operation.
• Own necessary tools.
• Able to work 9‑hour days, 7:30‑16:30.
• Good communication and work ethic.

Required skills
