Planner / Scheduler / Coordinator – Field Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Planner/Scheduler/Coordinator to join a busy Planning, Scheduling & Dispatch team in Maidstone. You will coordinate field‑based operatives across the UK, ensuring appointments are booked efficiently and service levels are met. Full training is provided and the role offers genuine development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule both responsive and planned appointments for field operatives using multiple works‑management systems.
• Liaise with and direct operatives to keep jobs on track and meet deadlines.
• Monitor response times and service‑level agreements, distinguishing between planned and responsive work.
• Identify early warning signs of risk to response times and escalate issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick thinking under pressure.
• Comfortable working shift patterns and flexible hours.
• Accurate and efficient data‑entry skills.
• Customer‑service experience and a target‑driven mindset are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
